The Living Desert enjoys an exceptional reputation for our exhibits, community events, animal care, educational programs and wildlife conservation. We provide an introduction to desert ecology to more than 35,000 school children throughout the year. We treat over 1,000 injured and orphaned native animals in which the majority are rehabilitated and released back into the wild.
