Grab your backpacks, roll up your sleeping bags, and come join the Starry Safari, a nighttime sleepover experience for the whole family. Stay past closing time and encounter the sights and sounds of the desert at night. As the sun sets and a vast canopy of stars appear in the desert sky, you and your fellow safari-mates will make your way to our tent village. Your roomy tent will easily fit up to four people, with sleeping pads to make your night more comfortable. All you need to bring are sleeping bags or blankets, personal toiletries and clothes for the next morning. Each Starry Safari will feature a special Wildlife Wonders presentation, up-close animal presentations, a delicious dinner and a nighttime guided walk through the park. After dinner, you can partake of tall tales told round the campfire while you enjoy s'mores that you roast yourself. Sleep will come easily listening to the coyotes howl. If you are lucky you might even hear our wolves join in before the night is through. In the morning, enjoy a deluxe continental breakfast and a leisurely guided walk before you head home. Or choose to stay on for further exploration of The Living Desert - your next day admission is included in the Starry Safari package. Starry Safaris are for adults and children five years and older.
