Brew at the ZooSave the Date for the 5th Annual Brew at the Zoo!
When: Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Where: The Living Desert
Beneficiary: Proceeds from Brew at the Zoo help The Living Desert care for over 500 animals, 1,600 protected acres, and provide scholarship programs for thousands of visiting school children. Attendance: 2,500+ guests
What should I wear to the party?
Cocktail Casual is appropriate and so are jeans and shorts! This is The Living Desert and we want you to have fun. Comfortable shoes are recommended to enjoy the entire party; the food, beverages and entertainment are spread out around The Living Desert.
Are all of the food and beverages included in the ticket price?
Yes. Guests pay one price for admission and enjoy (10) free beverage selections and (10) deluxe appetizers from over 45 vendors.
Can I buy more food and beverages?
No. But please note that most guests have informed us that the amount of food and drink we provide has been more than enough!
When does the party start?
Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
How much are tickets?
General Admission Tickets: $40 Members/$50 Non-members Designated Driver $35.
April 1 to May 2: $45 Members/$55 Non-members Designated Driver $35.
May 3: $50 Members/$60 Non-members.
VIP Tickets: $125
Are children allowed?
No. Guests must be 21 to attend and children, infants and strollers are not permitted.
Are there places to sit down?
More tables and chairs have been added this year, including seating for over 300 at the Discovery Center.
I use a wheelchair/walker/cane, will I be able to enjoy the party?
Yes. The party covers an area that is mostly level with some gentle inclines on the desert sand.
Will the entire Zoo be open during the event?
No, but plenty of animals will be on hand for encounters.
Will non-alcoholic beverages be served?
Yes. Several beverage vendors will feature juices and non-alcoholic beverages.
Will there be vegetarian food options available?
Yes. Not all vendors will provide vegetarian options, but some will.
Are cameras allowed?
There are restrooms located near the main entrance, Discovery Center, Irvine Patio, and portable restrooms near The Palm Garden Patio.
What about parking?
The Living Desert parking lot is free. Taxis are available upon request.
What if it rains?
If it rains, the event may not be held. Please consider your ticket purchase a donation.
