Experience the Life of a Zoo Keeper!

The secret is out!
Are you 10 to 14 years old with free time on Saturday mornings at 9? Then put down that remote and get off the couch! The new Jr. Keeper Program is here! It's time to learn the tricks of the trade - from animal observation, feeding, daily cleaning, medical treatments to animal enrichment (think playtime)! Your adventure begins October 15th, 2011! See you there!

Classes are held select Saturdays October through May. Please bring a snack and water bottle.

Jr. Zoo Keeper activities vary by session, and may include:

• Special behind-the-scenes with animals from deserts around the world
• Interactive Zoo Keeper encounters
• Learning about, and creating, enrichment objects for animal wellbeing
• Problem Solving & Critical Thinking Skills
• Applied observation activities
• Scientific experiments
• Hands-on zoo keeping duties

Daily tuition costs are $30 for members and $40 for non-members. Registration begins October 1st.
